The St. John Police Department is located in north-central St. Louis County, is a State Accredited Law Enforcement Agency recognized by the Missouri Police Chief’s Association. It was the third department in Missouri to be accredited by the Missouri Police Chief’s Charitable Foundation Certification Division and has maintained this accreditation since 2010. The department serves a community of approximately 6,650 residents with an average daily population of 72,000.

The department is dedicated to fostering strong community relationships and actively participates in various outreach programs. These initiatives aim to build trust and cooperation between the police force and residents, enhancing public safety and community well-being. Programs such as neighborhood watch, youth engagement activities, and community policing efforts are integral to our mission. Through these programs, we work closely with citizens to address local concerns, educate the public on safety practices, and create a collaborative environment where everyone contributes to maintaining a safe and vibrant community.

We invite all residents to join us in these efforts and help make St. John an even better place to live.
