Tom has been a St. John resident since 1977 and Mayor since 2013. He has been married to his wife Mary for 40+ years. They have two children and 6 grandchildren. He is an active member of Holy Trinity Parish and was a former member of St. Williams Parish.

He is a Master Technician and has been a member of Machinists District 9, Local 777 for 36 years. He has been involved with the City of St. John since the early ’90s and has served on many levels.
