Lee and his wife Bernadine, have resided at 8917 McNulty since 1976. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.

He attended Ritenour schools and is presently a contracted Building Inspector for the City of Woodson Terrace. He formerly owned and operated Taylor Building Inspection Service for twenty seven years. Before his inspection business he was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 669 UA. He also served in the Missouri Army National Guard for six years.

He has served the City of St. John for over 30 years, first as a Ward II Councilman and then as Mayor for twelve years. He has been serving on the City Council for Ward II since being appointed to fill a vacant seat left by Bill Bales in December, 2015.
